Global Connections

What are examples for ways for our students can meet 21st Century skills and ISTE Standards. We've talked in class about some ideas and posted some ideas on a NETS Wiki, and now we need to share our ideas with colleagues around the world. This ning can be used to discuss ideas, post pictures and videos, and blog our ideas.

Making Connections

I am a graduate student in New York looking for a job. My certification is in Mathematics grades 7-12. I am working on receiving my Technology certification for grades k-12 and am looking into Middle Childhood education mathematics grades 5-9 and middle childhood generalist grades 5-9.

Currently I am a substitute in 3 school districts and am trying to find resources to help me teach my students when I have my own classroom. In my experience students understand the mathematical… Continue

Looking for educators to chat with!

Hi everyone! I am currently a substitute teacher who is looking for a permanent math teaching position. I am looking for educators from other countries to talk to about how they use technology in their classroom. I'm really interested in trying to learn from other perspectives.

As you may know, Africa (Nigeria in particular) is an integral part of the third grade curriculum.

If you are interested in linking up, see Peacecorps World Wise… Continue

Technology revelation...

I believed that it's only hard at the beginning but once you'll get over it , that is it. I dont really like to be in the computer but since I started taking this program , I feel like started to be hooked on it. I'm not scared anymore to explore the computer. I love it now because I'm learning a lot....
